MAC Colour Craft Collection

This collection focuses on mineralized eye shadows, blushes, and skin-finishes. The eye shadows come in one compact with four colors as shown below and I personally love the poppy colors they used for this collection. Surprisingly in this collection there is a new brush that is a duo-fiber BLUSH brush. (Never seen that before). In the collection there is also a contour brush and a small tapered blending brush. (All very useful brushes). This very colorful summer collection is beautiful and is a must have for all you mineralize makeup lovers out there!

What colors make your eye color Pop?

A lot of make up artists refer to the color wheel for inspiration on a look. You may have seen it before in an art class. It looks like this----->




*refer to the opposite color of your eye on the color wheel chart, since opposites always attract.


Using the right eyeshodow color can really enhance the color of your eye dramatically. Try it out for yourself.


If your eyes are brown:

Use a deep sapphire blue shadow, or eyeliner. Blue will bring out the golden flecks in your brown eyes.


If your eyes are blue:

Use a rich chocolate brown, or a bronze to bring out the shimmer in your blue eyes.

If your eyes are green:

Use shades of purple, since purple tones will enhance the yellow flecks usually found in green eyes.

If your eyes are hazel:

Use shades of green-- anything from moss to lime green to forest green. Green shades bring out the red undertones usually found in hazel eyes, and makes them look brighter.

Hello Kitty M.A.C Palette

I am so excited that I finally bought things from Hello Kitty M.A.C collection. I purchased the Too Dolly quad and Lucky Tom quad. I also bought the Blush, Tippy, the Lip conditioner, Popster, and the nail polish, Vestral White. I prepared a look from both the palettes hope you like!

This look is almost exactly like the model from the, Hello Kitty Wild, collection.
I used:

Eyes:
-Too Dolly on my lid.
-Stately Black in my crease.
-Yogurt for my highlight.

Cheek:
-Tippy (Blush)
-Pretty Baby (Beauty Powder)

Just in case you think the other look is to bold, I put together a more "subtle" look from the Too Dolly quad.

I used:

Eyes:
-Yogurt in the inner corner.
-Romping in the middle.
-Too Dolly on the outer corner.
-Stately Black in the crease.
-I used Yogurt again for the highlight.
